Blog problems

I'm trying to get my domain set up so this is AT sevesteen.com, not just forwarded TO sevesteen.com. I've got a Google Apps for Domains account and a Blogspot account. Google has some issues with keeping these two services straight. At the moment, when I refresh, I might get the blog, I might get the Google page, and I might get a 404 "Page not found" error--All without doing anything else.

It seems to be working itself out--I'm getting this page more and more often.

Yup. Sevesteen.com, www.sevesteen.com and sevesteen.blogspot.com all work as they should. DNS stuff is a pain to troubleshoot, because when a change doesn't work, you don't know if it just hasn't propagated yet.

Comment Policy

One of my peeves is blogs that appear to allow comments but don't publish them, or only publish the ones they agree with, not explaining their rules. This is especially annoying when I discover this after spending time on a reply.

So far, I allow all comments that are on topic, without regard to whether they agree with me or not.

If someone makes a comment trying to take an internet squabble to the real world--outing a blogger, posting personal information, etc--I'll probably delete that. I will also probably delete posts that are trying to sell stuff, or promote another website more than they are on topic. Comments on fresh posts get published immediately, unless caught by Blogger's spam filter. Comments on older posts get held until I release them.
